Can we borrow your acoustic guitar?

At CocoaConf Chicago, we are performing a ‘Breakpoint Jam’ of some of my Cocoa-related songs on Friday evening after the keynote. (details here)

I’ve enlisted the help of some of the other speakers to play in the jam, but lugging guitars cross-country on a plane is damage-prone.

If you are local and can bring an acoustic guitar with you on Friday, please let me know at dempsey@tapas‑software.net.

We can store the guitar in my hotel room during the day, so you won’t have to lug it around with you.

In return for your generosity, you will receive our undying thanks and a vintage James Dempsey and the Breakpoints t-shirt. (You will probably also save some poor guitar from being crushed on the tarmac in some baggage handling incident…)

I’m hoping there are a few guitars to be lent in the city of the Chicago Blues!
